Default What LEDs to buy for ASR/Foglight/Headlight ****?

From what I've gathered, these are the ones that you have to solder yourself. I ordered (3) 5mm red 25,000 MCD LEDs from ledgauges.com, and I'm assuming I made the right choice. Is this going to work or did I get the wrong ones? Someone posted in another thread that on keliente's install site they were using 5mm flat-tipped LEDs for these switches which is the reason I went with the 5mm.

The only thing you might have to do with the 5mm LED's is to enlarge the holes in the switches themselves for the LED. I had to do this. It was not very hard to do. I just used a file to enlarge them.

I'm trying not to spend $35.00 on a "kit" when if all I need to do is buy a couple LEDs and install them myself. I did order the 3 LEDs from him, however.

Cool, thanks GUZ. If I have problems come install time I'll hit ya up if you don't mind.

25000 mcd will be blinding for those switches. I use 7000 and it's bright enough as it is. In fact it lights up a little bit of the backseat. I'd be curious to see how bright 25000mcd would be
