pink stripes? the t/a is almost ready to be driven...just need a quick opinion on what color blackbird stripes to get...pink or charcoal on a black trans am? thanks!

I have pink inserts, emblems, and calipers and get crap for it all the time. If thats what you want, go for it! But be prepared for comments such as "camaros [in your case ta's] are man cars" and "you've ruined that car". (Both comments I actually got on fquick.)
I think pink stripes on a black t/a with a girl driving would be cool. If I ever saw such a thing I may follow her where ever she's going and ask for didgets.

I think pink on black could look really tasteful and unique but, it would need to be in paint. Some type of metallic or pearl. I don't think any color of pink is going to look good if it's vinyl.

Like others have said its your car. Don't be afraid to be different. My car certainly is and I have gotten lots of nice compliments and also negative comments too but who cares. I like it and thats all that matters 
. Most people dont know a girl drives/owns it either.
So dont settle for charcoal if you're just being "safe". Be happy and go with the pink. Get a few samples of vinyl and lay it on the car...look at it in different light to see what you like best. Thats what I did plus a photoshop till I decided on the colors I wanted in my flames. BTW I did see a TA with pinkish purple stripes. I'll try to find a pic of it. I thought it was very pretty

Ok found the pic. I took this pic back in 2001 at the GM Nationals in Carlisle, PA. Anyway I like the stripes but I dont like what they did to the nose/bumper.
