I haven't flared them yet...
I narrowed the rear end 1.25" each side to suck the wheels in as close as I could to the LCAs. I still plan to flare the fenders about .75-1", but atleast now the car can be driven and looks decent.

All that you just mentioned is why they are not done yet, oh and the fact that the next step is actually ruining the paint on the fenders, hood, and nose so I can fiberglass pieces to make the shape of the headlight. It is always really hard to make that first CUT with the sand paper on nice paint. I haven't decided if I'm going to seal the clear cover on the housing or bolt them on with little 4-40 bolts. Info on glues would be great, I already have a polycarbonate material I was planning to use but if there are films that will protect better I wouldn't mind checking those out.
Thanks

I know your using the Hella's which are already sealed and vented and so forth, but what were you planning for the housing? Are you going to seal them up to keep out moisture and dust or just make a cover to go over the open area?

Maybe on an F-body. I've seen 15's on vettes, but there are much bigger rotors out there for trucks on big rims and such. I think it was 17".

The rears are 15" too!!! I almost went with 16" rotors but it would have been too costly to get a caliper to fit a 16" on the rear. The brakes turned out just like I was expecting, but they were DAMN expensive. Although if you consider the Stoptech/Brembo/Baer 14" kits that cost about $3K just for the front, then the total I spent for a one off front and rear 15" setup with the external parking brake is somewhat acceptable. BTW it was in the neighborhood of $6000 for everything.

Right now I have about $35K (including the cost of the car $10,500), but once it is done I plan to have about $65K. I am planning/saving for a $20K engine, either TT 427 or Kenne Bell 427, hoping for 800+RWHP. Then of course there is another $10K for a built tranny, fuel system, and other misc parts.

i have to admit man, you're car is the craziest looking fbody i have ever seen. but you know what...i freakin love it! the workmanship that it took to mold, shape and form those pieces must've been a while. the headlights i assume probably aren't finished but i know I for one and looking forward to seeing the finish results.

also, those wheels...absolutely amazing, they're nasty lookin for sure!

But in a good way. You alreay know I love the way it looks and I can't wait to get the pictures you're sending me. Should look really good knowing that you're the one that did the work.

I honestly wish you lived closer to me so I could have you do the work on my car.
