Ugly Caliper Paint
. Does anyone know the best way to strip the paint. I assume paint thinner would work, but I wasn't sure if that would be bad for the seals. I will probably get them powdercoated, which is what I should have done in the first place. Also, if I dissasemble the calipers to have them powder coated, where can I get a rebuild kit for the seals and the rubber boot? Or can I put the old parts back in if I'm careful taking them out. Thanks guys.
sand yours down. spray them with brake cleaner and spray some thin coats on them.
anyway you could probably wire brush off the crappy paint
Good luck with the project.. I almost bought a car that was visually identical to yours last summer. You wouldn't happen to be from NorCal would you?

As far as your problem goes, I used the spray can on mine and put on a few coats and then used a brush to put on the last layer to even it all out and make sure everything was covered nicely.
