4.18.07 Update

Due to most folks preferring the vintage theme, I called up Mr. Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins a couple of days ago. I told him that I was interesting in decorating the Pinks car like his Toy #6 1969 Camaro. He said it would be okay if we did that, and that I can get some of the decals from him. For the record, this car will not be described as a Grumpy Jenkins car, or a car that he has built, but is a car that will be decorated in a way that pays tribute to all the great drag racers from the 60's and 70's.

Here is the car that we will be keeping in mind as we design the paint and decal setup:

Regardless of the graphics, there will be sponsor decals on the car. It will look mean.

When the 35th's came out I fell absolutely IN LOVE with the paint scheme. Even when I see one today, I get that tingely feeling so go with the sunoco hood, hugger 35th AND hockey stripes. How can you go wrong with that?

I like the vintage look. It's really spartan, like you KNOW were the money went. In to the go-fast parts!!
Oh and I give the to the Cragar wheels.
