What type of pad for swirl remover?
What type of pad for swirl remover? What type of "pad" should I buy to apply swirl remover with a low speed "buffer?"
Same question for applying polish? Can I buy this stuff from Discount or Autozone?
Don't tell me to buy a tropi-care porter cable or some other brand I don't have the money, I'm just borrowing my next door neighbor's and he uses it on his 51 GMC truck that's mint so I'm fine with using it on my car

If you are talking about one of those 10" waxmaster type "buffer" .. then you will be just as well off using the swirl remover by hand .. you will get no torque, and no speed out of one of those.
Get yourself a couple of good, terry applicators and go after it by hand ..
If you are doing a large area, I would recommend Tropi-care TC-8 or Meguiar's #2 if you are going to try and remove swirls by hand ..
if it is a small section .. then ScratchX would also be an option.
make sure you follow up with a wax or sealant to protect.
Get yourself a couple of good, terry applicators and go after it by hand ..

We have used the black foam pad at speeds up to 1500 RPM for correction in specific situations.
