did it on my 2001. Used a heat gun to soften up the glue and started peeling it off by hand. Some people have used a piece of fishing sting to seperate the molding from the car, but i just did it by hand. When you get it off go back and heat up the left behind adhesive, or use something like Goo be gone. It did not mess up my paint at all and there was no color difference on the paint where the trim had been

^That'll work. I've also heard some people using hair dryers and dental floss.

I used fishing line to get the molding off then I just peeled the glue off while hitting it with the hair dryer...

i just pulled it off....
the first side wasnt that easy, it left the sticky stuff on. i just had to work on it for a bit, and peel it off. on the other side, it all pulled off at once.

^yup. I just did it recently and was afraid there'd be a color difference so I went slow and made sure before I flat out ripped it all off. I used a hair dryer to heat it up and shot some WD40 on the glue as I pulled. This helped take the glue off real easy to, since I didn't have the Goo be Gone stuff or anything. Worked well. I didn't used fishing line either, just pryed it up.
