Not sure if they are physically different in size or whatever, but I do know they look different. Mine has a black layer with small holes cut out on the underside; sort of like the honeycomb taillights. I don't know how to explain it without pictures. Ls1's are clear right?

I don't have any pictures and it's too dark right now to get one. Your t-tops are clear glass right? Or maybe a little tinted. Lt1's have a pattern that looks a lot different than yours.
One thing though.. do you have the covers that fill in the t-tops and completely block out light? I know camaro's do. If your going to cover them up anyways, I would get those `96 t-tops.

Or get both of the 96 t-tops and nothing will look odd. I personally like the lt1 t-tops better because they block heat very well and still let light in.

Put simply, 93-94 are different from 95+...

^^^ Exactly. Newer ones are going to be tinted and the older ones have a dot matrix like on the upper part of your hatch glass.

Yep, I had to use a t top off a 93-94 with the dot matrix when mine pulled a James Bond on the road. In all honesty, it didnt look like it fit right and it leaked like a bitch. I picked one up from a guy on here off a 99 I beleive and the leak ended. I put my buddys on from his 95 and it fit just fine too. As long as you get one 95+ it will look the same visually and shouldnt give you any problems...hopefully.
