Default T/A wiperblade cover

The large black piece of plastic around my wipers is starting to fade. Anyone ever polish it up? Should I use PlastX or an interior dash polish?

I pulled mine off and sanded it smooth. I'm now going to paint it factory black to match the car. Mine wasn't faded, but it's going to look mint regardless.

I pulled it off like a year ago, and drove it around with no wipers for a long time. I'll probably get around to finishing it at some point. Probably about the same time I decide to finally pull my car out of storage LOL.

They also sell special paint for pieces like that, I'd just use some nice dressing on it

I actually draped towels over my hood and sprayed that piece with Meguire's Hot Shine and got a lot of good responses from it at Lowe's Auto Fair. It holds up very well, and you don't have to worry about an even coat. Auto Fair was like 2 weeks ago and its still dark.
