New Underhood Chrome - Tell Me What You Think!
Everyone that has a T/A knows how ugly that plastic piece between the front nose fascia and the hood latch is Factory couldn't even paint it. Some people remove and paint - I went a leetle bit farther and had it chromed (my plater can chrome plastic). Part was in the chrome tank for 12 hrs - weighs more now than it did before!
I also had my TR Tensioner Chromed and installed the Polished SS PCM Cover - so tell me what you think...

You got that right - I had to go back and get all my polished aluminum items chromed - they paled in comparison to the chrome. Chrome is much easier to maintain than polished aluminum anyway...

Well, he's not a sponsor so I won't post up prices here (wouldn't want to speak for him anyway). I can tell you that he has a fairly good handle on prices to plate just about everything tha is possible on a T/A since he has done mine.
Pricing for new customer may be different than mine as I get a discount since I have spent thousands of dollars with him over the years and several cars.
He does do out of state work - I have referred several members to him that have sent in items from out of state. Actually, he has a members Power Steering Reservoir down there right now being plated.
That front piece alone took quite a long time - first coating with the copper underlayment till it met with his hi standards - then in the nickel tank, then in the chrome tank for 12 hrs.
Some would say that the cost is too much and would rather just paint - that's fine - your choice.
Me, I'm 46, have a very good job that pays well, all the kids are grown and moved out, so I can afford to spend $$ on my cars. Plus my wife loves cars and shows just about as much as I do - so that don't hurt!

If you mean where did I get the parts to chrome - they are all the stock parts. I remove them during the winter when the car is in storage, have them plated, then install before the next season

Jay, Looking great as usual!! I bet that plastic piece was a pretty penny to get chromed Like I told you before I have printed out some pictures of your engine bay and I use them as my reference of what I want/need to do!!! After dropping some serious cash on engine appearance items over the Winter I am now in the ballpark. Keep up the great work. Talk to you soon.
