Default Rear Filler Decal HELP....

Ok well I just stripped off my old Bird and TRANS AM logo that was on there....I polished the **** out of it and its PERFECT now!!

My question is....Im gonna be ordering new decals and I need to know whether I have to clear over them or no? Will they last longer if I do?

What have you guys done?

I don't think you have to, seeing as they didn't from the factory, but you might want to to preserve them. I mean, just look at what happened to your old ones. Faded and bad looking.

Just buy the GM rear panel for the CETA model. It has the silver colored bird/text.
Buy it from your local GM dealer, or GMPartsDirect dot com.

Firebird tail filler panel (from 02 CETA) (silver logo) = 10312725-----------------$108.09 w/s&h&tax

If you are going for vinyl decals you did not need to get rid of the original imprint.

Get metallic ones and they'll never fade....you might want to spray on some basic household UV protector just incase though.
