v6 photoshoot :-P
Well I posted this up on my v6 board, and figured I'd see what the v8 people have to say..
Me (camaro) and my buddy (Firebird)got together for a nice shoot today. His brother and his brothers gf tagged along too with their mustangs.
The lighting was kinda hard to work with since it was at like 3 in the afternoon, and the sun was just beating down and causing all kinds of wierd glares and stuff for us, but I think that most of these turned out pretty nice.
Here are some of my favorite shots..
For those of you that say a 3.8 with open 3.08 gears cant do a burnout, here ya go...
This isn't the greatest picture, but it shows how nice I got the paint to shine, still looks wet (look at the passenger side of the vehicle, ignore the glare on the front bumper lol). I used stage 1 and 2 meg's polishes and followed that up with a coat of NXT paste wax. I used some meg's gel tire shine that my dad picked up..

Well these are all I'm gonna post up on here... Theres more of the whole group in the albums, you guys can go check those out. Some of them are kinda cool.
I think some of these are the best shots I've had with my car since I lowered it...(i really only had 1 other set of pics from after lowering, their on the last page of my cardomain, see sig). The pic with just my car by itself really shows the stance, now i just gotta save up and get some wheels to finish it off.
Hope you guys liked these, we had a good time takin the pics and they came out great so hopefully we'll go find some other good places sometime.
Rest of the pictures are in these 2 albums:

(Double click one of the pictures, and then you can just keep hitting the next button to go through them all on the yahoo album)
Hi res of any of the pics in either album available if anyone wants a few

Thanks guys
Yea, next time i'll remember to lose the mudflaps for pics. I really dont mind having them on though for daily driving, it really keeps alot of crap off the paint.
I'm not planning on putting any graphics on my car, I like the really clean, smooth look. I'm hoping to pick up a set of c5 z06 wheels sometime in the future, and some tint. Other than that I think i'm happy appearance wise. Maybe a grill and front/rear fill ins too.
I bought the car certified used, so it has a 4 year warranty on it. I have just over a year to go, and once its up I'm gonna get into internals as long as money allows.

Well thanks to some tips I got from a tutorial here, I touched up some of the photo's and made them look a little better. Next time I'll change the settings on my camera as well to see if I can get some better shots. Heres just a few of the pics that I touched up a bit.
I may start browsing this board more often... Even though I have a v6, theres alot of great info here that I would have missed if I quit coming here just because "its only a v6"

Haha you guys are ridiculous... I would have a v8 if I wasn't in college, I can barely afford the car as it is especially with the gas prices so high right now. I'm making the best of what I have though, so it's worth it to me.
