I started using Turtle Wax Ice on the plastic trim. It's synthetic so it doesn't turn the plastic white when it dries. Used it on my wife's 2002 Trailblazer and after 2 months and plenty of washings and rain it still makes the trim look like new. Also used it on the grille and cowl trim on the Z28 and they still look new.

That's exactly the problem I see with peanut butter. If the wind catches it right your going to smell peanut butter and make one very hungry. **** its almost impossible getting the smell off your hands after a PB&J.
Edit- I have a truck to detail on Thursday morning I'll be sure to get before and after shots of the trim stuff specifically for this thread. subscribing.
