Yeah, leafblower works well. And you really do get some strange looks. But lately I have used microfiber. Works really well.

As far as the clearcoat etch. VERY VERY TRUE. I was told I got mine from the crappy rain out in California. Not only did it etch through my clear, it started to affect my basecoat. When we painted my car, after the wet sand, they were still there. We had to re base coat it too. Those spots are so annoying. I will never let that happen to my car again.
