SLP hood
Yea, remain skeptical...absolutely no 25 hp gain. Couldn't tell a difference on the butt dyno and I would have felt 25 hp. Don't have any pics of mine but I'd give the fitment a grade of "B-" but I think it would be better if I had gone with a better body shop. I've always gotten great comments on it and caught a lot of eyes. I hit a deer yesterday so I have to get a new hood. Was thinking about changing to another type, but I'll probably go with the SLP hood again cuz I liked it so much.
The VFN Sunoco looks way better than the slp hood IMO....also, they are known for great fitment, you should check some of those out, and there is no way in hell you will gain 25 hp

some shots of my hodd and the volant cai which i also did the free ram air mod and use a ssra. I kept the baffles in. And no you will notice no gains from the hood.. just for show and maybe it sounds a little different.
work as in rm air hp etc.. no. None of the hoods will "work".
It is a cosmetic thing. Now say if you took my Volant cai, cut out the baffles.. and widened the vent holes in the nostril grilles.. then maybe you would get some gains.
But then if you do a search on baffles removal you will see the age old discussion of will it mess things up if i run it in the raid etc etc,
mines a DD, so the baffles stayed.
