How to wet-sand headlight?
How to wet-sand headlight? I know there is a thread within the hall of fame one about yellow/cracked headlights and this does relate to it. However it said he wetsanded with 400,800, then 1500 grit or whatever.
My question is, how do you wetsand? what is the proper technique to make sure i don't do any more damage to my headlights?

keeping it wet is key as said above but even pressure and attention to detail are very important also. Take the time to work all the imperfections out and work your way to the finer grit paper. Finish them off with a plastic polish to bring back the shine.

wetsanding only lubes the paper... it doesnt make the grit finer or anything... but wetsanding is just much easier... and as they said just keep it wet so u dont have build up that will leave bigger scratch marks or swirls..... and it would be best to use a buffer but be careful dont wanna burn/smear the plastic lens!
