I've never been a big fan of GTO but this thing is beautiful! I was somewhat expecting to see a set of iForged of some sort on it though. I assume since you're doing the Long Haul you'll be hitting the WI and IL stops, which means I should probably make my way to see it and meet the famed "Tony".

Very nice.
I see that front end everyday about 100 times cuz around here ( Saudi Arabia) That is what the Lumina SS looks like from the factory.

Anyway great looking car Tony.

Josh, I'm adding drag bags to the rear to lift it up back there and level it out. Those also will help with wheelhop. The car sits low enough for me from the factory, I'd rather not go around scraping the expensive hardware up front.

Pro-Mo, it is a factory color called "Brazen Orange Metallic". Makes Sunset Orange look almost red by comparison:

I can understand that. I have the splitter to help protect my bumper and I've already had one incident with it. If I would have had the Monaro nose it probably would have gotten slammed.

I really like how you had them fill in the front liscense plate notch. That was one of my biggest problems with the Monaro nose. It definitely looks much better filled in.

Money. Good call, too on the filling the rear valance, that grey will look badass with the wheels. You have any changes planned for the "GTO" on the seats, or the fuel rail covers?

Loving everything except the badges/emblems. Putting "Monaro" emblems and badges on a GTO the same thing as putting Z06 badges on a Corvette or putting SS badges on a Z28 IMO.

Looks nice, bit I definitely prefer the split nostril GTO nose and emblems better. I love the wheels. Are those Hyperblack? Thinking about the Ruff 278 for my TA.

Looks awesome! I love that front end, and he did do a great job on the fill in where the tag would go. Are you going to do anything with the 'GTO' inserts in the seats and rear bumper?

Except to make it a GTO Holden stuck 'GTO' badges and a nose on their Monaro and shipped em off to the states. If either of the cars are posing, its the U.S. GTO.

Gotta love the misinformed automotive enthusiast . These Monaros had "GTO" slapped on them, they were originally Monaros. I just put it back the way it belongs visually. The Z06 and the SS are higher trim levels, the Monaro is actually the same trim level as the GTO. It was GM's not-so-brilliant idea to bring them here and call them a GTO. A plan which failed to increase sales obviously, and even pissed off the old school GTO enthusiasts. I feel they should have left the cars alone and called them Monaro and sent them as-is appearance wise. It wouldn't have alienated the GTO enthusiasts, people wouldn't have called them Grand Ams with V8s, and the Monaro heritage would have tranferred across the ocean. In Australia where these cars were built, the Monaro has a HUGE enthusiast group, they consider the Monaro their version of our Camaro.

Looks tight. First thing I noticed was the GTO valance. But I agree with your plans on that.

Gotcha. Still don't like the badges and emblems either way, but the nose/paint/color/wheels all look awesome.

I do like that car a lot, but I wouldn't have put 6-spoke rims on it if it were mine. I associate 6-spoke with imports.... 5-spoke with domestic. Am I the only one who feels that way?

Badass car regardless

Well technically it is an import (from Australia). But then again you can see the direction I went with the GTO/Monaro and how I thought it should look so I cant really argue with you. Too bad RUFF doesn't make a set of wheels just like those but in a 5-spoke pattern.

Like Josh said, it is an import. I was going for more of the Euro/BMW/Audi look on this car, since I already have plenty of musclecar hotrods.

Here are some similar looking wheels (iForged) on "imports"
