Who here is using a lockable Stanton gas cap?
I saw it at the local auto store and noticed the thread on it doesn't match up to our stock caps. I was worried it wouldn't fit just like every other one. My buddy says to not even get one as they'll never truly fit right and it will just trigger SES codes. I REALLY want a lockable gas cap, what is the way to go?!
Leashing up a bulldog to my wheel to guard the car isn't very practical!

I had one.
It wasn't on the shelf. I had to ask the guy behind the counter for it. It was an exact match and fit as intended.
I stopped using it when the lock cylinder began to fail (A couple/few months after buying it). I had a hard time removing it twice and had to fiddle with it to unlock. The second time was worse and had me concerned that I might have to break it off. Once I got it off and fueled up, I put the stock cap back on. Luckily, I kept it in the trunk just in case.
Also, I couldn't find anyone that could copy the key. It only comes with two, so don't loose them.
