Anyone else get the "sell the car" bug after completing mods?

One look at my FQuick page will show my history. My car now has a finished interior, finished supsension, finished exhaust and will soon have a finished exterior when I paint the hood and install the cowl stripes and emblems.
As this approaches, I find myself looking at C5's on ebay and autotrader with a frightening frequency
Is it just me or do any of you guys end up doing the same thing?

The "new piece of paper to draw on" comment was pretty much right on the money...
"Paying the car off" isn't an issue... Of my 8 cars I've owned there was only one I didn't buy with cash, my first V8, the 1994 Z28 I had. This car I bought cash. Not that I am some big roller it is just I buy cars I can afford.
If I were to get a Vette it would be cash as well (plenty of $15000-$20,000 nice C5's out there). If I can't pay for it with cash, I don't need it.
Now, when the 2009 Camaro comes out that might be a different story but even then I plan to wait for a used one (I am hoping the convertible will make it's debut mid-year causing a lot of people to return their 2009 FRC's...)

I'm way too attached to my car to sell it, I've tried like 3 times and I just can't pull the trigger. That, and you bastards talk me out of it!
Great philosophy!
This is something I think all the guys that mod their cars should accept: Modding is hardly ever 'worth it', but it is fun. Plain and simple.

My car is paid off and isn't heavily modified really, but sometimes when i think of how much the heads/cam is gonna cost going in, sometimes i feel like selling it and leaving the car the way it is now, but the other part says, well you got a great deal on the parts and if i regret it, i would probably have to spend more to get the same parts. Im planning to buy a house soon as well. This much i do know, i love fbodies and would love to own a Ws6 as well as the camaro i have .

I understand wanting to move onto something new after you get the car the way you want it. Personally once I get to that point I will buy a Corvette but I will keep my Camaro as well. I just plan on building up a car collection.

Honestly Mark, I think your car has a certain something that a 'Vette will never have. Sure a 'Vette is more refined, classier, built better but that's not what I like about your car. I love the way your car looks, feels, drives, rides, handles, brakes ... ah scratch that; you need brakes
All I'm saying is enjoy the car dammit. Let's take that bish in the canyons and drive like it was meant to be driven. I'm sure you'd forget about the C5.
Unless you're getting old and are looking for something to put-put around in. Hey maybe your wife will complain less about the doors.

Not really. I've had my car for 6 years now. It only has 42K miles on it, runs good, looks, good, and I don't want a car payment. I also have a daily driver so I don't get too bored with the Formula.

I cant see myself selling my car, if i want something I'll just save up for another car, plus if you sell your camaro for something else, you wont enjoy ls1tech as much as u used and possibly leave us, and probably would have to join some other gay *** forum.
