All the wrinkles you see are are gone. I did the upholstery work bit by bit over the weekends. This shot was taken as soon as the seats were covered and installed. While putting the door panels back accidentally the driver's side cracked....needless to say I was really pissed off. I got lucky and found a pair of mint panels and got rid of the ones I reupholstered. I will post pics later of how the interior looks now. The aluminum accents around the window controls are also gone.

How do you like the steering wheel? It looks thicker. Did redline work some magic on it?

No Redline in the steering wheel. Its just a cover, the one you thread yourself. Got it at Ebay. I have Redline leather covers on the center console, the A4 shifter and the brake handle.

I have them and am selling them. I have added gauges to my vents and going for the blended in look. I'll PM you if you're interested.

I dont have any pics to contribute but I have always wanted an overhead console in my car. I recently picked one up at a salvage for my truck and am thinking about going back and getting one for the car. The one I got came out of a 97 chevy extended cab and just by eye balling it, I think it would fit in the TA. I want to add a homelink button to it, maybe some push buttons and toggle switches, gps, direction and temp, idk... Just always thought it needed more of a cockpit feel. Maybe not a full on nightrider console but I think it needs something.

kyoytey1693, this may interest you:

There actually was an overhead console option (in 3rd-gen and possibly early 4th-gen). Some early 4th gens have the mounting holes for it.

I have 2 of those overhead consoles on a shelf, but I haven't installed either yet. I will eventually.

Im new to the site, but I'm not new to An F-body. My first car was an 98 Firebird V-6, I traded it for a 99 Z28 about 8 years ago, and I recently bought a 99 Tran Am. I think these cars were some of the best bang for our buck of all time. My only problem, the Interior. I hate the interiors, especially the Camaro's. I know we don't buy these cars for the interior but the performance, but i just have to do something about. So I'm going to redesign the interior's starting with the camaro, Since I just so happen to be an art major. I'll post my future designs, so if any of your guys want to take it to your local autoshop to get them to whip you up a fiberglass version let me know and I'll shoot you the designs.

Thats pretty badass. Thanks for the link. If you want to get rid of one of the consoles I might be interested. Hit me up if you do.

My custom HVAC delete/switch panel. Holds one gauge and 3 switches. The "Trans Am" lettering lights up by the way.

One is complete an the other has parts missing so I'm holding onto both of them. If I change my mind, I'll let you know.

So it has rained all day here at work and I just went through all 24 pages to get some ideas. Chaman, your car interior is what made me decide to redo mine....looks great. Mine is nasty tan and I'll be doing a complete custom interior attempted by myself. All wrapped plastics with some nice stitching (red or white not sure yet), new black carpet, new black dash, and new seat covers. I will be doing this through out the year and will post pics when I start.

Chaman, I like how you toned down the brushed aluminum. It is just right now. Where did you pick them up at if you don't mind me asking

There were many great looking interiors in this thread....keep it going

White face guages, blue guage lights/hvac, LED interior lights, Bird decals, satellite radio integrated, and shifter. P.O. also did vent rings, bit the driver's one fell off and i lost it until a week ago, lol.

The radio does sit flush, it just wasn't pushed down in the pic and i have added a WS6 store short stick since then.

Here's a recent pic. Added the Z06 shift **** which I love. I may shorten the shifter a little bit, but it's almost perfect.
