I just found out about the Miata vents mod, on Facebook, then found your post here. Unless I missed it, I can't believe no one mentioned how SAF it looks.

Did you do a write up on it? Mine are do dried out, they literally crumbled in my hand.

BTW, you mentioned something about the console lid and seats, what was that all about?

Again, the vents look killer, Bro!!!

Miata vents are simple plug and play really. Middle three pop it and fit perfectly. Passenger side fits really well, I used a little tape to make it thicker and fit snug. Driver side is the only one for me that didn't fit great. Used a lot of tape to thicken it and it has to be in just right to not pop up a little. Well worth it for the cost. Think I got mine for like $20 on ebay after messaging a seller saying I needed 5 instead of the 4 Miatas have..

They do look sick as ****! I thought the end vents on our dash were the same size? I know they are bigger than the center vents, but didn't realize that they were different in size, to each other.

I didn't realize this either until I read the original thread on here and then intalled them myself. Heres the thread for reference.. https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...-firebird.html

This is easily one of the worst threads I've had the unfortunate luck to open. I'm still sitting on ripping leather seats, ugly tan color and cracked door panels Always more work to do I guess

The work never ends haha...as the cars get older there is always something that needs updating. Best part about this thread is someone has already done pretty much anything you can think about doing so you can see if it turns out as good in real life as it might in your head....or not!

I know this thread has been dead for a while, and I'm not sure if @@97ramsst is still active on the forums or not. But I really love the touch of the chrome door hardware and hatch latch. Where did you pick them up from?

The passenger cup holder bounces a little bit with the weight of the phone, I know it's a 10 cent POS. I was thinking of putting a rubber triangle wedge in there to help it. Anybody have a better idea for me? Thank you.

The seats had the opening for the harness that I was never going to use so I had them redone. Finally put the interior back in. Unfortunately I’ve neglected the car lately with everything going on in my life but I was happy to be able to get the interior back in

I know your car Banshe5. Here are some shots of it in 2007. Shows the seats with the harness openings you mentioned.

I remember you too my friend, Russ I believe. Thank you for the old pictures. That sure was a fun time, I miss The Gathering. My son Tucker that you met turned 20 last year. It’s been a hell of a ride. I hope you’re doing well.

LOL at Miata vents in a TA. A lot of Miata owners swap them out for Eclipse vents.
