Looking good ! I think, since you are doing the wide body, you really should swap that spoiler out for the three-piece (like the DH cars)...

AND since you have the hook up on the vinyl I would paint those spokes a dark charcoal and getting matching (color) stripes !

Good looking car though, lot of work and thought and it shows !

Ok, I was bored so I did a quick/crappy photoshop taking this:

and by changing the stripes to a charcoal (slightly darker than I wanted), "painting" the rims' (BTW, NICE LIP ON THE BACK!!!) spokes a charcoal (I would make the stripes match this color), body coloring the mirror (black sticks out like a sore thumb afterthought) and making the spoiler a three-piece came up with this:

I think it looks classy as hell

Either way, great looking car !

Oh, an oldshool red bowtie on the grille (from a 1969 Impala) would be icing on the cake !

I screwed a piece of left over carpet on the wall next to my truck. So when I open my door, no issues with the paint getting scratched.

No, one is a class D amp for the sub, the other one is a class AB four channel amp for the speakers.

I like the current spoiler and don't want the three piece one.

Well the vinyl is just to test fit more than anything. I will then paint them on after I'm happy with them. This is actually the second set of DH stripes I've installed.

That's a good idea. I'll probably do that.

One more question that I always wondered about. If you got a hold of all those CMEs, how come you never put one on your car?

Thanks, I'm sure I'll end up doing that. But to get them powdercoated I have to take the tires off and all the good stuff. I'm thinking I might just take them to an auto body place and see what they'd charge to paint them.

Haha I get asked that all the time. To be quite honest while I do think they look good I just don't think they are all people make them up to be. I mean I was selling them for $300 and then starting putting them on eBay and they were selling for over $700. Personally I think I would be stupid to turn that kind of money down. Just my personal opinon. That and I think American sports cars look best with the two tips on each side instead of the two in the middle.
Oh and did I mention that I didn't have the tips and to buy a pair I would have to shell out an extra $400 or so. So it was either make $750 or pay $400.

I don't think there's anyway to just buy them without buying the kit. You can buy the FBody kit with 4" tips but the tips don't go back as far and in my opinon don't look nearly as good. The ones I have on my car weren't meant for their truck kits.

she looks real nice, that camaro looks like its come a long way. I think the spokes painted black would really finish of the theme and look pretty custom (i dont think ive ever seen smoothies painted or powdercoated)
