headlights - painted (part 2) I painted the headlights with tinted clear.... I sanded the yellow stuff off the plastic lens and after some wax and grease remover treatment I painted with tinted clearcoat (the automotive stuff with activator). this clearcoat won't turn yellow, it's the same clear that you would use on your hood, fender and so on...

The same clear as I would use on body panels? I'm assuming that you baked it then, to help with an otherwise long cure time? Because there are bodyshop-grade clears out there that don't fully harden or don't completely outgas for months!
