If only there really were other VALID spoiler choices... I kind of see what you're saying for hoods and definetly see it for rims but there really aren't any other good spoiler options... Can you name any?

This thread is lame! All it is doing is showing everyone has there own opinions. We already knew that! Everyone has different tastes and unless someone buys the car I would do what I want to my car and I am sure it is the same for everyone. The majority on this site can agree that certain things are tasteless.
1. Stickers, WTF were you thinking (unless they are a valid sponsor then it is on there cause of a signed contract different story)
2. Cheesy painted interiors.
3. Spinners
4 Over sized bling bling rims!
5. Extra high aftermarket spoilers
6. Fart cans
7. body kits are a hit or miss. Some pull them off really well (VSGLS1 comes to mind) I know it is a custom job but is done very tastefully!
There are more but from searching this site over the past few years these are the most commonly agreed upon. What was the point again?

I am a former SS owner (1998 SLP# 0009) and now I own a Z28. I couldn't care less if Z28 guy puts an SS hood / spoiler on the car. AFAIC they are the same car - just with some cosmetic differences. Hell, my Z28 goes faster / handles better than my SS did. The SS spoiler will find its way on my Z28 at some point, but I have no desire to do the hood.

I don't like chrome grill inserts on WS6 hoods. I think it ruins the appearance of the original design of the hood to front fascia.
and another vote for not liking Corvette wheels on an F-body.
Oh, and putting a "Collector Edition" door badge on a T/A that is not a Collector Edition Trans Am.

1. painted interiors. all of them
2. multi color seats
3. carbon fiber anything
4. white face guages
5. "euro" rims. anything above/below 5 point
6. square or turn down tips
7. 2 tone paint. ok on first gens
8. 98-up camaro front ends. reminds me of a catfish. although catfish is tasty....
9. louvered rear windows
10. guages in EVERY ac vent
11. clear lids
12. euro tail lights
13. body kits
14. i won't say anything about "dubs"
15. window tint stripe on windshield
16. sunroofs
17. neon anything
18. side exhausts
19. electronic gizmo's all over the interior
20. lights in mirrors
21. zig zag antenna's and the stumpy rubber types
22. car club ads in the rear window
