Default My DIY shift ****...

I'm from Texas and it has been raining forever now, so being stuck at home and having nothing better to do, I grabbed a spare (G2) shift **** I had lying around and made this. Its not perfect by far, still need to be sanded and more clear coat but just wanted to see if it looks good to you guys too?
All criticism welcomed!

Crappy pic but I think you get the idea.

The wing on the left looks crooked or something is wrong with it. Other than that I like it.

Yeah the left wing messed up a little bit, but it was the first one I'm doing so it isnt bad. I will know better next time.

Yeah sorry about the pics, I dont have a digital camara with me at the moment so I just used my cell phone and web cam.

I just sanded (400 grit) down my old G2 shifter and filled in the letter/number with a metal filler I found at autozone a long time ago. Then I layed sevral light layer of normal rattle can black, sanded again (2000 grit). Layed down a bird decal and I have sprayed about 10 or so layers of clear coat, as soon as I have time again I will sand with a 2000 or finer sand paper and if need be another coat of clear coat. I belive it needs plenty of clear as it will be used quite often... Its easy and cheap, plus i think it looks nice. Better than paying $50+ for a shift **** from someone...
