I sold my 8000K HIDs & eurolamp housing in lieu of some Bosche E-code housings with H4 5000K HIDs. I have a cutoff now and definitely alot better than my eurolamps, but I know not as good as projectors are. I made sure the the HID capsules had some sort of shield on them already so that it'll force them to use the top part of the headlights. Also after some research I found that I can use a turkey baster to make a shield for them for an even better cutoff so I'm going to try that too.

What does the light pattern look like on the wall or down the road? Where did you get those housings?

I'm going to get some pictures of it against the wall for the cutoff. The light is definitely alot more dispursed down the road, I can see even better now with the new housings and 5000K.

well looking at just the old setup pics, it's definitely going to be brighter. Those look really dim and your gaining more light by going to the 5k's alone. I am very interesting in seeing the beam pattern of the new housings. Keep us posted.
