Default Changing my "theme" (I think)

Ive been wanting to come to "the dark side" for awhile now. Ive always liked how the top half of my car is black, because of the dark tint and black pilar and mirrors. Im thinking about changing to a "darker" "theme". Ive had this car since '01 and Im ready for a new look.

Im basically sure I want these black chrome rims, about 99% sure. (18x9.5 & 19x10.5) (and springs of course)

Then Ill VHT my corners and tails, and get some black or these smoked headlights...

That would really be different with this color. Most blacked out themed cars or black, silver, or white (or red). Ive never seen a bright metallic green one.

Yea, that crossed my mind but my headlights are in bad shape. There are like a million cool styles on ebay. Ill probally get some black halos and not hook up the led.

To each their own on the headlamp ideas but have you really considered how the three-bubble style of the halos do NOT coincide with the twin-bubble body lines of the hood? Just my $0.03

but I'm definitely saying go for the new theme!

Yea Im real picky as far as body lines go. Ive actually thought about that. However I havent found any of the twins that I like.

As far as darker rims... well... I dont think I could go straight black with my color of car.

green and black is a very nice theme, a very good contrast in colors plus you don't see it a lot.

It sounds like a good plan thats what I would do pretty much too. Also I would suggest painting the stock grill to match the wheels and an SS hood with a paint matched manta stripe for the win.

those black chrome C6's would look great, but I agree with staringback05, go darker with the rims.

The SS hood is a "go" for sure but Im waiting till winter so I can get it painted when I get it.

I havent figured out what to do with the grill yet. Im really up in the air. Im actually afraid to !front plate! because these villiage cops down the road are all over little **** like that. (they have nothing better to do) They spot cracked windshields, burnt out licence plate lights, expired 30 day tags from miles away.

I LOOOVE black wheels, but straight black wouldnt go well with my color. I think the black chrome would look awesome because the way the paint goes from light-to-dark depending on the lighting.
