WOW!! Three things I've learned to never discuss at the dinner table, religion, politics and whether or not to put a bra on my car
I think I will pass on it, though my old hood was full of stone chips and stuff. I travel more back roads now where there is less truck traffic, and I've found that more rocks hit the area above what a bra would protect, like the windshield! Maybe now I could be made the official "Better not put a bra on your car" mod
Thanks!

Bras are horrible for finishes. They trap rocks and such under the bra and cause scratches anyway. Just get a good couple layers of clear so you can wet sand without going through the paint. Or get some of that spray on bra stuff.

I have the 3M clear 'bra' on my camaro. I've had it on for almost 4 years now and its holding up good. To install you just spray soapy water on the paint then place the 3M piece on and slide it around into position and squiggy the water out from under it.
I voted no for the black bra thing. Yes to getting a clear 3M one.

IMO, I think its a good idea for driving in certain areas as long as it comes off when parked or isn't necessary. Rock chips aren't the coolest thing to show off after spending a bunch of money fixing the front to look good. I drive my car alot in the summer and spend alot of road time around big trucks and construction areas. I am going to look into the 3M clear ones though.
