Did you have the engine compartment painted?

we did the jams and engine bay, hatch....tried to get a factory look.

Was the motor in the car when you did the bay? Im guessing not but just curious if anyone has done it with the motor still in.

 

motor was out, but I did my brothers engine bay with moter in. Lucky he went from NBM to that corvette Electron Blue. Blended well. Would be hard going to black from red ya know. Depends on the colors you choose.

 

Well I was thinkin of repainting mine just so it has a clear coat but not sure about it with the motor in. Ide pretty much have to remove everything but the motor.

 

Hey Steven, looking good. Wish I could have seen it in person. When your brother told me about you and a turbo Trans Am, i figured he was talking about Frost. Well anyways, I'm glad to see this thing back on the road, I remember when it use to be white with the stock motor, it was loud back then, I can only imagine how loud it is now. Next time I come down we'll have to go cruising.
