Default painted coil pack

anyone ever painted their coil packs? if so how did you do it? thanks!

I painted mine pewter on my old Z28. I just cleaned them off with brake cleaner, taped up the electrical connections, hung them up with zip ties and started spraying

I painted mine red with the same Ceramic paint I used on my Calipers. I'll be posting underhood pics Monday hopefully. Got alot of installs planned this weekend.

I didn't clear mine just for the fact that the caliper paint just wipes clean without much effort. Plus the ceramic paint has a shiney hard surface after it completely sets up.

I didn't clear mine either. Sorry I don't have pics, the car burnt before I got around to taking them

Here are a few shots of the stocker, primed-base coat - clear coat.
Just cleaned realy good, Taped off conector area and plug area. Applied a epoxy primer and base coat and clear cost. Off them same brand of paint. Ie PPG.

thats looks great!!! im just trying to find an alternative to getting fuel rail covers.

Had my coils painted. The racks, valve covers and fuel rails were powedercoaded silver. Don't look at the dirt, it's driven all the time.

Dude look at the pics there is no hood on that car. Those are the hood struts.
