SCRATCHES & CHIPS! how many u got!? OK help me feel better about myself. My 98 Metallic Red Orange is nice shiny color, but i have a lot of scratches and some chips tht are noticeable close-up! I hate it! How many of u have a nice car but a few too many scratches, do u get pissed, or do u just dont care. Haha it makes me mad but w/e. Post comments and pics!!
I have a few chips and scratches on my car but the one's that annoys me the most is the dent my friends mom put in my passenger side quarter and the dent my friend put on my driver sidepanel quarter panel

probably about 50 little needle points on front from gravel kick up, most was from some ******* who though the mile gap behind me wasn't enough to pull out into so he roasted em sideways in front of me...in pea rock... i watched little peices of paint chip off befor my eyes, i chased him down and started screaming and all but he took some side road that had huge pits that i couldn't make because of lowered and headers, he had a blazer.. after that i didn't really care for my front end to much lol.. besides that i only have a few scratches and chips that no one else even notices soo it's all good.

My front bumper looks like a 15 year old with bad acne! I already had it resprayed once. I think the guy didn't even use clear the way it got chipped up. IT should be getting sprayed again this weekend with the ss spoiler. Then hopefully I find a beater car and park this SOB! Good from far, far from good!

i got some rock chips from driving LA to Reno NV.... mountain roads dont like my car 
... i also discovered a new slight key mark....haters!
so dont feeel bad, i hope some of my scratches will come out wiht my Detail this weekend...

My front bumper has quite a few rock chips on the front.
Recently discovered that somebody peeled out next to my car and threw rocks all over my fender.
Couple big rock chips on the hood.
Cat scratch on the other fender (F-ing cats!).
The back end is pretty good though.... man I feel depressed...

My car was cluttered with little imperfections that no one noticed but me when I washed it or detailed it, but I just repainted it.... Waiting on the new motor and I'll be driving again lol.
My car was in overall pretty good condition, with a few spider cracks on the back bumper and a chip or two here or there.
But what really got me was when one day, I was washing my car, and I was just hosing off the soap. I went to spray down the front bumper and right in front of the front drivers side wheel well a peice of paint about the size of a penny just flat out fell off. Right by that turn signal/reflector thing. It just slid right off, with water running over it, to reveal the black plastic or whatever underneath.
Needless to say, I was incredibly pissed, and haven't cared much about chips since.

yeah, it seems to depend on how it happens to. if you do it you're just like goddamnit, if some rocks chip the hood ahh whatever. can ruin you're day seriously

trust me i know how it feels they tore up the highway to repave it last month. Lets just say they didn clean up all the rocks too well i have about 10 new rock chips and the car already could have used a few touch ups. Car looks great its just when you get about 3 feet from it you start to notice everything.

I just got most of the crap fixed on mine. Between people hitting it while parked or crap on the road getting kicked up by the tires, it needed it. Still needs a few little things, but I guess that's the price we pay for driving our toys. She still shines up nice though.
