Default New engine bay pics...

Well I FINALLY got around to painting my lid to match my FRC's & figured I'd snap a couple quick pics. My camera isn't great, but here they are.

Looks great. Love the valve covers, especially since they say CAMARO and not CORVETTE. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, I just filled in the Corvette lettering with body putty & used a filler primer that was wet sanded smooth before adding the base coat & clear coat. It was all done with regular Duplicolor rattle cans from Autozone. I just made sure that I took mine time & didn't rush anything. Same process for the lid, but that had to have the textured surface sanded smooth before I painted anything. That was probably the most time consuming part.

Here's a couple shots of the covers before they were installed.

I removed my A.I.R. system ahead of time so that I didn't have to modifiy the covers much at all.

Just mock something up with the correct fonts & take it to a good local decal shop & they should be able to make anything you want. The stripes that I used at the bottom of the covers, along with the plaque on the lid came from www.afterthoughtsauto.com so no extra leg work needed there. The 5.7L, I just freehand painted with a paint marker which wasn't too tough.
