Default So I bought ANOTHER SS. *PICS*

I brought the '96 home today. Its my new daily driver....with LT's, GMMG cat back, heads, cam, intake......Still doesn't come close to the '02.

And the wheels I just ordered for the '96. 17x9's up front, and 17x10.5's in the back.

i LOVE the '96-'97 SS's They are SWEET lookin'. I don't know if i'd get rid of those stock rims. Let's you know that's an ORIGINAL SS. They are hard enough to come by the way it is. Just don't let those stock rims outta sight if you decide to sell it later.~Cole~

I love LT1 SSs. What is done to your LS1 SS?

I had a cam only LS1 Trans Am, sold it, and now I'm in a LT1 Trans Am with heads and cam. I know the LT1 has heads and a slightly more aggressive cam but that low end and midrange LT1 power makes the car feel very strong in comparison to the LS1 Trans Am... until around 5000rpms when it feels like the LS1 with a slipping clutch. The LT1 is nice around town and part throttle though.

The '02 has full bolt-ons, a small cam, 12 bolt, TH400, 100 shot, and the supporting suspension stuff. The LS1 is def much stronger motor vs motor. And we are talking a small cam LS1 vs a medium-large cam + heads LT1. I still love the LT1 though...just not as much as the LS1.

The pic of the TTM is actually of Tomzwheels.com. They are a site sponsor. The 17x10.5 TTM is pictured, which is where the big lip comes from. The 17x9's that are going on the front don't have much of a lip at all.

very nice having two well modded SS's. Both look great. Btw, what cam and heads are on the LT1 and any dyno numbers?
