How about silver, with a red outline to tie in the SS badges?

Silver with the red outline sounds good! I was thinking about going with either red or silver and red kinda struck me more because of the color of the badges. If I were to do red though I would want it to fade into red from the sides of the manta a dark red to a brighter red. Is there anyone that knows how to photoshop? I have no idea how to and would really like to get just an idea of how it would look. Few people said I should do more of metallic colors. What if I were to go with one of those paints that change color ???

A buddy of mine that has a black SS camaro had his manta painted sunset orange and looks killer in the daylight and at night kinda looks red. Had his emblems painted the same color. Just an idea.

Don't knock hugger orange. Its not halloweenish, its retro. Pics in sig of my '96 with orange stripes, I have a orange manta stripe i nthe garage waitin to find someone to put it on.

Ya know thats funny, first time Ive ever been to this section Im coming in to start a thread on this very topic.

Im in the same boat as you. Ive been kicking around an SOM manta. In my head it looks good and unique, wanted some thoughts. VendettaV6 can you shop that one up?

I like the silver too, but doesnt seem like it would be too memorbale if you saw it in a crowd.

this is kinda out there but if youre going to keep the car and not sell it I suggest a silver manta with a black firebird emblem in the middle. I think that would look sick.
