chrome wheels are easier to clean, and wax shows up really well in the cracks, grills, emblems

I would go gunmetal or chrome if I were you, op. I personally went the cheaper/easier to maintain route (mine's a dd). I think a lighter color wheel would set off NBM a lot better than black though. Don't get me wrong though, I love how it looks in person, and get tons of compliments on the car. It still needs a grill, a hood, a drop, lots of tint, and a flat black berger, but you get the idea.
