How to clean cupholders & best cheap paint cover
1. I have some nasty stuff in my console cupholder & rearseat cupholder. It's dried and old. What will remove it safely?
2. I've noticed in Motortrend they've used clear shelf paper as a cheap man's method to saving the frontend paint on roadtrips. Tell me the pros/cons of using this stuff, or alternatives.

Take the upper console out, and run some hot water through it. That's what I would do, assuming it got nasty.

Call me strange, but I remove the console and run it through the dishwasher. It works for the radio bezel also.
