gow can you tell if an SS spoiler is a true OEM part?

It will be two pieces, long LED brake light, and have a SLP serial number engraved into the bottom mounting area.

how many digits in the serial number? machine engraved?

it will start with SLP and then the number but I cant remember how many numbers and it is hand engraved I believe. And everything else toofazt said.

I'm sure its real, as far as I know, there are no aftermarket two piece spoilers.

There will be a noticeable seam between the top piece and bottom piece...

yeah, on the edge you can see its 1 piece on top of another.
on the aftermarket, there is no seam.

Here ya go man. Doing a little detailing and took some pics. It does start with CSD, i thought it was SLP because it had been a while since it had been off, its the led that has SLP cast on it, my bad. Hope this helps.
