The bumper was designed to house tips...As for the tips, yes you need them, on a firebird the bumper is different and looks good without tips, but on a TA, it looks terrible.

i used to have the slp dual tips out the back and it looked good But now that I have the dumps I dont mind it. It did have to grow on me but I love the look without.
