Im using a Lake County Orange pad.
And, Should I mist the pad every time I put some Swirl Remover ? I was just doing it the first time. What should I use to mist the pad ? I was using Meg's detail spray.

I mist every time I get ready to start a new section. I usually use distilled water, because it's a whole lot cheaper than detailing spray.
When it comes to detailing sprays, I always use the companion product of the wax/sealant I'm using. So, if I'm using Tropi-Care's sealant, I use their detailing spray.

I used the new Megs detailing spray, It was kind pricey so I felt like I was wasting spray but I will try water next time!

Wash/dry (maybe w/ some DAWN), clay, wash/dry, TC-8 w/ PC & the orange pad, & then TC-3 with the blue pad. I use the detail spray for wipedown during buffing. I have added a layer of liquid carnuba to the mix now & it really started popping.

For tougher swirls or scratches, a heavier compound & different pad may be needed.
Enjoy the TC!

Normally I just need to use the quick detailer after the polish.

I'm glad I stumbled on this thread, I was about to make a post.
On my Firehawk, there's all sorts of really fine scratches. You can't see them unless it's at night under a light or bright sunlight. It looks like its under the clear coat. It's tough to explain. I always use a Microfiber wash mit. I think once I used the brush at the car wash. I will never do that again. I wash my car twice a week and I want it looking good.
Are the scratches I am seeing what you guys are talking about? I will be honest, I know very little about the polishing/buffing thing. I used the Meg's Nxt wax on it and it made no difference.
Is there anywhere I can find out more about the compounds you guys are using? The last thing I want to do is burn a hole in my paint.
Thank you.
Jason
