Default detailing question.

I have detailed cars for about 2 years now. I worked in a shop environment and used all the detail products provided by them. On my car just recently i havent been able to remove brake dust off my wheels completly. i have tried meguiars and mothers products for wheel cleaner and just scrubbing with no luck. this is the first time i have not been able to get the wheels clean. does anyone have any suggestions on what to use. they are just the stock wheels.
Thanks

Default polish

The eagle one nano polish worked miracles for break dust and water spots on my chrome stockers!

Have you tried a clay bar yet? They are very underestimated in their usefulness 90% of the time.

If they are stock, a very fine steel wool would work, I've actually used them on chrome before to get rid of some embedded crap.........I detailed for 8 years. If they are chrome, go get some Never-dull........it is fiberglass like material with polish in it. Looks almost like cotton, but it will cut through some crap...........

Have you tried Fantastic cleaner?? Spray it all over you wheels and tires let sit for 2 to 3 minutes. Get a soapy wash rag and wash wheels and tires. If it still doesn't work repeat procedure. Works great for me!

I would second this

this is what I use if soap and water won't do the trick.

that is a recipe for disaster on wheels .. works very well on tires ..but will destroy wheels.
