Tinted side view mirrors?

Tinted side view mirrors? Alright, now I'm wondering if anyone has found blue tinted side view mirrors, similar to the higher end european car types? I have talked to a local tint shop about a 50% blue on mine, but have been forwarned tht scratches will be a big problem with the external tint. Anyone have any leads on this?

Re: Tinted side view mirrors? i looked into doing this mod last fall, but never followed through with it. anyway i did some asking around and found a guy that had done the same mod and here are the part numbers that he gave me (L) 10279515 (R)10279516.(he said that these are the mubers he used in canada so they might be different here) be warned if you ordered these you might get the standard mirrors. i would do some more checking before ordering them. let me know what you end up doing because i am still interested in doing this.

are these the same for camaro as they are for birds?
Re: Tinted side view mirrors? i'm not sure why but both my mirrors came that way. it does cut down glare at night as well look cool. i still have that one drivers side if you want it. make me an offer

Re: Tinted side view mirrors? anyone have a pic of these tinted mirrors? sounds like a good idea to cut down on glare from trucks driving behind you with their high beams on

I installed the the rearview mirror and used the Donnely unit which is the factory supplier for our cars. I also have the tinted side vew mirrors and gave out the p/n's as posted earlier. You can see pics of everything in my webshots gallery.
