Someone really wanted that bad as they are a PITA to get off due to the screws being small torx head that are buried in the seam between the cover and front fascia along the bottom.

You can find them here in the 'for sale' forum from time to time, or on eBay, or - last resort - GM dealer.

Just look around. I had been looking for one for a while because when i bought my car it didnt have it. I live in NJ and the law says you have to have a front plate. But I said fu** that. I bought mine off some dumb girl at the race track who had a red trans am. I said I'd give her 50 bucks for it and she said OK. It was in great condition. theyre about $75 from the dealership without paint. So I lucked out. I wouldnt go to the dealership, look on EBAY like the other guy said, and just ask whenever you see someone with the same color Trans Am. <-- thats what I did.

I bought a 'blemshed' clear one from afterthoughtsauto for like $20 or $25 and had it painted. Looks just like an oem one.
