Car show guys.... need some help

Okay, I am getting ready to show the camaro for the first time on Sep 1st, not my first car show so I am good to go as far as what to clean and what not, but my question is, I've seen cars come into shows with the front ends wrapped in plastic, almost like saran wrap, except it appeared to be one piece. I never got a chance to ask an owner what it was or where he got it, but I figured I would ask on here and see if anyone knew wtf I was talking about. Main reason I need it is that I have to drive 40 miles to the show, and the bugs are bad right now. Thanks in advance.

I've seen some people use painters tape(light blue). Doesnt stick too much, and doesnt leave a bad residue from what i've seen. I've never personally used it, but have seen it.

I just keep a bottle of quik detailer handy and a few extra microfibre cloths.

I agree I use Meguiars ultimate detailer the new stuff out and it works great. Just get there early enough and touch things up and you'll be fine. The last time you were at a car show did you notice people cleaning up the car when they parked? You just have to get a routine down when you roll up and you'll fit right in.

Alright thanks guys. I'll do that sounds easier then trying to wrap my car in plastic.

It might be that 3M Clear Bra. Too expensive though.

Thats what I was thinking too, Ive never seen one for the 4th gens but then again I dont go around lookin at bra's

lol.

I'd say some QD spray would suffice as others have mentioned. Always works good the times Ive used it for that.

Rushville Nebraska, just a small local show. Only problem I have now is figuring out what class to put my car in. There are really only two to choose from 1970+ Stock, or 1949+ Modified. I don't know if rims, decals, headlights, ect. will get me negative points in the stock class, but I do know that the 1949 class is going to be pretty large, and hard to stand out in. Any advice?
