Which car cover to get?
I finally got my garage cleaned out enough so that I could get the SS in the garage. It is nice now not having to wash the car all of te time. Well I spend 2 solid days cleaning out the garage to keep the car clean only to find that in the garage it gets COVERED in dust. So I have been looking for a good car cover for my SS. Seeing as that the car is black I am concerend about hairline scratches. I looked on the SLP website for one they have listed as an "SS" car cover. Does anyone have any idea what this looks like? And is this even a good car cover? Any help would be appreciated.

I've been looking for 6 months, I'm really wary about putting a cover on my black car, cuz as you said, I don't want hairline scratches either. I know you have to make sure it's completely dust free before you even think about putting a cover on it. I'm hopin someone chimes in on this thread with some info.

Polyester is plastic and it will scratch a black car or any car for that... California Car Covers has covers just for stopping dust, and they're supposedly really soft too. I keep my car outside and have a Noah cover, so far its been ok.

I ordered a california car cover before i even got my car. My cars black and it has left no scratches at all. these are the only car covers we use on our racecars/showcars plus the people there are very helpful. i cant remember what model it is but it was the newest one at that time(august). ill try to find out which one it is tonight.

Exactly, get the Noah Wolf car cover from Cali car covers. Having used a bunch of different covers, this is BY FAR the best out there. It is all weather and water proof, but it lets the paint breathe and DOES NOT leave any scratches, its great! WELL worth the money IMO

Will the Noah pull tight and stay on in wind? Thats been my problem with ever car cover I ever owned. When a strong wind (rain storm) would kick up, the cover would end up blowing off on the ends leaving only the area with the cable on (and even that was not well covered).

Hmmm, sounds like I might have to invest in one as well. I've already got one, but the bad thing is I have no idea what kind it is. It is pretty soft though, feels like a diaper on the inside.

Does California Car Covers have a website and an exact link to the Noah Wolfe cover? The reason why Im thinking of investing one, is because our new neighbors has a cat that likes to lay on my car every night! Damn cat! I cant wait to catch it! By the way, how much am I looking to spend on this cover? Thanks
