Default coil relocation brackets! !!!NOW WITH PICS!!!

i didn't really wanna pay too much for these from our sponsors or anywhere else for that matter so i made my own. i've got some supplies left over, so i could make some more if anyone wants some. the only thing you need is to make your own plug wires. i haven't mounted them up yet as i've got a pretty big makeover going on under my hood right now, but i'll get pics up when i do. i'll probably polish the brackets out too, but here they are for now:

UPDATE:

OK, i've been out in the garage ALL night fiddling with the car, mostly sanding and polishing and trying to get those 2 hard-to-reach screws on my brackets i made. i took some mock up pics. i say "mock up" because i've removed my intake due to my trying to sell it, but i set it back down on the motor and layed the fuel rails on it.
obviously i don't have plug wires yet, they'll come in this week sometime and i'll take pics when they're on.
if you'll notice, i painted my ASR module cap SOM and polished it's mounting bracket. i plan on doing my MAF sensor and painting my new FAST intake when i get it.
the valve covers are next, i've got a mild once-over on my driverside as you can see in the pics below.....anywho, i'll stop typing and post some pics....

Wow that looks really good. How much did it cost you if you don't mind me asking I'm sure its way less than from a sponser. I am going to be doing this very soon, my engine bay is getting a total overhaul as well. I started with hiding all the wires I could and gave a decent clean up, next is the coil relocation and polishing the valve covers and the rest aluminum under the hood.

that's exactly what i'm doing. i did the wire mod, now i'm polishing stuff and waiting on a FAST intake to paint.

as far as cost, the alluminum was like $6 for a 4' stick (i think) and the thread rod was like $4-$6. i can't remember....i've got about $30 parts with enough left over to make another set except for some of the toilet supply line i used as spacers, which is pretty cheap.

granted, i've gotta spend $100 on spark plug wires and make them, but i'll still come out ahead and have something else i can say i made.

Could you PM me the supplies you used so I could buy my own? Also what is the size of the spacers between the coils?

*mod edit: Post removed: If you plan to sell these, please contact Nine ball or Pro Stock John for sponsor information.*

i know i need to post installed pics, but they aren't installed yet. i'd like to get on it tomorrow, but i'm busy trying to sell my intake and get a new one and paint it and polish stuff and relocate other stuff....it's piling up, i've got quite a work load. i'm trying to get the car ready for the Street Machine Nationals in Springfield, MO on the 14th, that's what brought all this on.

Looks like stuff you can get readily at Home Depot. At my local one you can get aluminum tubing that sleeves over the all thread.

yeah, they will work on any camaro/firebird '98+...possibly on other LS1/2/6/7 cars but i don't know about them...

i'll get pictures up when i get them mounted. they go up underneath the wiper cowl at the top of the firewall kinda....like i said, i'll get pics up when i can. i'm getting pretty lazy with the car because i'm having to work a lot of hours to afford the stuff i need to be doing to it. i'm getting it ready for a big car show from the 14th-16th this month, so it'll be done hopefully, minus the intake, by this coming monday, since i don't work monday and i'll have sunday afternoon to work on it some more.

MSD 8.5mm's MSD #32079. it's a universal kit that you cut to the needed length, about $100, but i'll still have WAY less in this setup than what some places charge for their kits.
