Picked up my WS9 Hood yesterday...
Yesterday afternoon Tim and I drive up to Roger's shop US Exotics to get my hood he finished and while there he told us how he makes the hoods...was pretty cool to see and hear about it. Then we went out and took my old hood off and put the new one on. He took about an hour of his time to fit the hood for us just right. He had to take the one hinge off the car so he could drill out one of the holes so the hood could go back a little for adjustment. When it was all and done...and dark out it looked pretty darn awesome and I'm extremely happy to have it. Roger is such a nice guy that he even called me late last night to make sure we made it back ok and said he was glad to have met us.
Here's some pics I took yesterday and today of his shop, his last fbody he owns which has been up on the lift for 5 years and just "driveway shots"

Thanks for all the compliments .
Ice Knight ....Just let me know what you need. Our cars should be done at the same time huh?
Yes the hood will match the rest of the car and the flames will pretty much be the same as the stock hood which yes I do still have. Right now it's sitting in the livingroom. I plan on trying to sell it. It's going to cost $1000 to get the new hood painted so it will be awhile till I can save up that much I've been trying to photoshop the same flames on to see how they will look but everything has to be shifted up due to the nostrils. I'm sure it will all come out looking nice. I wish I didnt have to wait so long to get it painted.
Tasilver.... Are you planning on driving up to get your hood too? Yeah it was neat to see the shop which Roger told us was slightly haunted when he first moved in! He told us of some stories and I'd been out the door and never come back if it happened to me!

Thanks for all the replies . In regards to the car on the lift....kinda looks like a skeleton, doesnt it? Roger said he used to have alot of fbodies but that's his last one he hadnt sold. He had plans to do alot of stuff for it including a 383 which he does have somewhere. I probably will keep the old hood and may hang it on the wall
