Default C5 dash lighting

I want to make my Camaro's dash light up like a C5 does...Macewen sells xenon bulbs that they say are brighter...but are they whiter light too? Any ideas if there's a better way to do it?

No way...ever seen how blue a "white" LED looks? Compare that to a stock C5 dash at night. They're definitely not LED's.

Depends on the LED. Some do look blue but many are very white.

i believe it is a combo of the tinting they put on the back of the gauges and the light bulbs they use. I'm sure someone knows if they use a different bulb or not.

They almost seem flourescent to me...all I know is at least to my eyes a C5's dash at night is like, cristal clear and beyond easy to read...just the way they light up is way different...I hope I can figure this out in my Camaro.

I thought C5's use a similar technology to the Lexus gauges, where they aren't readable when you shut the car off.
