What kinda Clear?

What kinda Clear? Ok i'm tinting my 3rd brake light, corners, and sidemarkers with nightshade. I'm using Krylon Acrylic Crystal Clear and when i spray it on over the nightshade all it does is come out turning white. I've sanded it down many times trying thin coats, thick coats, everything! What kinda of clear did you guys use that didn't turn white when applying to nightshade? Thanks
i actually used clear engine enamel for alot of the stuff i painted..also where are you painting at?? I noticed that sometimes when i have painted outside the clear turns white but when i paint in the garage it never does so humidity may have something to do with it as well
