Get rid of SLP Lid "Rub" area??

what i would do is get a small square of foam that you use in your window for a/c units, it has sticky tape on the back and just put it where it rubs on the hood, yeah you might notice it but it will be pretty small and wont rub on the hood.

ive had my slp lid on for almost a year with no rubbing what-so-ever. did they change the design or something?

Rubbing depends on the car and the way the hood is adjusted with the stops and what not. Not necessarily the lid itself. My lid does not rub and never has with the new or old design.

yeah I noticed my new SLP rubs a little. I may try adjusting the hood stops first and if that doesn't do it then I'll go for the cutting mod.
