Default Polishing Headers?

I just got my ARH in today

I've never attempted to polish anything before. They are made of stainless steel and I would like to clean them up a bit before I install them.

Can anyone give me some tips or what a good product to use is?

Thanks

I personally wouldn't waste your time, stainless will turn dingy gold/brown after they get hot. If ya want to do it anyway, any decent metal polish and a mini powerball on a drill will be your best bet.

I polished my whole exhaust and it looks great but I now want to get the headers coated the stainless still gets too hot for me. I would send them out to jet hot you wouldnt be sorry. Thats a great lookin setup btw if I was to do it again I might get those instead of the kooks.

It doesn't sound like you're wanting a full blown mirror finish on them. If that's the case, then the easiest (and cheapest) method would be to just give them a good once over with some #00000 steel wool.

For a true mirror finish, it becomes significantly more labor intensive.
